BlackRock will pay dividends to investors who own iShares ASX exchange-traded funds (ETFs) today.

Among them is the mega-popular iShares S&P 500 ETF (ASX: IVV), which tracks the US benchmark S&P 500 Index (SP: INX).

Aussie investors have enthusiastically invested in IVV ETF amid the US market’s outperformance over the past three years.

In 2024, the S&P 500 rocketed about 25% while the ASX 200 lifted about 9%.
